Why "Type G"?
Type G is the designation for our all-in-one portable air conditioner vent kits.
Prior to our Type G vent kits, a customer would have to purchase a wall mount with built in net, another wall mount for the inside and then figure out a way to connect the two through the wall. The customer would also have to optionally purchase a plug for off-season use.
Type G vent kits come with an all-in-one part that goes through the wall and is secured on the inside with a locking ring. The magnetic version includes a magnetic flange mount that connects with the air conditioner's exhaust tube.
What material is Type G vent kit made of?
Magnetic edition: mostly PETG plastic and some ASA plastic.
Non-magnetic edition: PETG plastic.

I ordered 2 of these for my 18000 BTU portable air conditioner in my garage. They are high-quality vents and very easy to install. Due to the size of my unit, I had to cut the plastic screens out of both vents to allow enough air flow to keep my unit from overheating. It was easy to do and did not hurt the integrity of the vents. I recommend these vents to anyone needing a permanent venting solution for their A/C unit. Great product.

Great quality product. Installed and works great! I wish the length thru wall could be adjusted. My wall was about 5 inches and I wish I could trim about an inch off. The product is not designed for this.

I have a cargo trail. During hunting season this trailer becomes my hunting cabin. I needed a vent for my portable air conditioner. This fit perfect. The magnets are super strong . I am curious how well they will hold in the bumpy hunting roads. I will update this review as time goes by. Right now I am very pleased.
I used it in a Mobile home floor. I was tempted to use it differently by using the magnetic top piece flush with the floor and the tightening nut under the floor to cinch it. That way it would be flush with the floor with the lid on. Wasn't sure if the flanges would be big enough after making the holes slightly larger to fit down flush. Oh well Food for thought. Still works perfect for me as per your design.
