This little threaded flange is a real headache saver and makes installing a portable AC so much easier ... It’s very sturdy, far thicker and more durable than the flimsy non threaded flanges I’ve seen on here and the ‘bay so do yourself a favor and spend the few bucks more and have piece of mind and an airtight professional quality install.

I exhaust a portable AC unit in a bonus room through the wall. This allows me to remove the hose and close the exhaust when not in use. The thread is perfect and it fits perfectly.

Discovered this on a YouTube review on how to exhaust a portable air con through a wall. Otherwise difficult to find. Does the job perfectly. Exhaust hose screws into the item and can be removed and sealed with a screw in cap which can be purchased separately making it draft proof in the winter.
